Asia University is located in the heart of Tokyo, where students study on campus in a quiet and peaceful environment. Established in 1941, the university celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2021.
As the university is operated by the Tokyu Group, a major Japanese corporation, it offers strong career support and a well-developed scholarship system for students.
At the undergraduate level, AU offers seven social science-related majors and one Data Science major. There are also three graduate school programs. In addition, the Faculty of Health and Sport Sciences is scheduled to open in April 2026.
For those who wish to study at a Japanese university but do not yet have sufficient Japanese language skills, the Intensive Japanese Course (IJC) is available. IJC is a one-year preparatory Japanese language course for international students.
If you meet the eligibility requirements, there is a generous scholarship that covers tuition for one year of Japanese language study plus four years of undergraduate study (a total of five years), along with two years of dormitory expenses and textbook fees.
Every year, approximately 300 international students study on the same campus alongside a total student body of about 6,500.
Please note that Asia University does not offer an all-English degree program.
